SparkOH!, Science museum and leisure park in Frameries, Belgium
SPARKOH spreads across 18,000 square meters, with 12,000 square meters of indoor exhibitions and 6,000 square meters of outdoor recreational spaces.
The current science complex stands on the grounds of a former coal mining site, which architect Jean Nouvel transformed into an educational facility.
The facility contains multiple themed zones including Le Lab'expo Chimie, Waouh, and La Fabrique à Pixel, where visitors engage with scientific concepts.
The park maintains specific operating hours from Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday 9:00-16:00, and Sundays from 10:00-18:00, with admission prices of €25 for adults.
The Biodiversity Garden extends over 28 hectares, incorporating observatories and different ecosystems for environmental education and exploration.
