Château d'Hodoumont

Château d'Hodoumont is a castle in Ohey featuring a square limestone donjon rising four levels high and flanked by three round corner towers with octagonal spires. The grounds contain an English-style park with interconnected water basins crossed by narrow canals and shaded pathways.

The château began around 1300 as a donjon surrounded by defensive moats and expanded significantly during the early 1600s. These changes reflect how the owners adapted their residence to meet changing needs and display their wealth.
