Doyon Castle, 18th-century castle in Flostoy, Belgium
Doyon Castle is an 18th-century sandstone mansion located in Havelange, Belgium, constructed with a distinctive U-shaped plan. The building displays five evenly spaced bays along its main front and features a large slate roof topped with decorative dormer windows.
The estate was initially divided between the Principality of Liège and the Namur provostship until 1585, when it became unified under the Jamblinne family. This family's stewardship shaped the property's development over the following centuries.
The main entrance displays classical styling with the Van Eyll family crest featuring a fleur-de-lis above the doorway. These carved details mark the presence of the noble families who made this place their home.
The castle is privately owned and closed to the public, so visitors can only view it from the exterior surroundings. The location is well documented on maps for those wishing to see it from outside.
A triangular pediment on the front displays the coats of arms of the Voider and Hèle families, added during the late 1800s. This later addition reveals changing claims to the property by different noble families over time.
