Cathedral of the Holy Name of Saint Virgin Mary

Built in 1710 as part of the Jesuit College, the cathedral underwent multiple transformations, including its conversion into a sports facility during the Soviet period from 1951.

The cathedral functions as the main Roman Catholic church of Belarus, hosting regular services and maintaining a collection of 18th-century religious frescoes.

The cathedral opens daily for visitors, with guided tours available in multiple languages, and contains an Austrian-made organ installed in 2005.

Soviet artillery specifically targeted and destroyed the original bell towers in 1951, but they were reconstructed during the 1997 restoration project.
