Garden Square of the 40th anniversary of Victory, Mahilioŭ

The Garden Square of the 40th anniversary of Victory is a landscaped green space featuring walking paths, seating areas, and commemorative monuments arranged in balanced proportions. The grounds include both open sections and shaded zones for rest.

This site was created in the 1980s to commemorate Belarus's involvement and sacrifice during World War II. The memorial marks a pivotal chapter in the nation's modern past.

The square serves as a gathering place where local residents mark important dates with ceremonies and shared remembrance. People come here to honor collective memories tied to the nation's past.

The garden is open year-round and offers both shaded spots and clear walking routes for comfortable strolling. Visitors should expect variable weather, especially during spring and autumn months.

The design was created by three architects working together, including Yewgen Brantsau, a key figure in Mogilev's modern development. This collaborative approach shaped the balanced composition of the space.
