Rakaŭskaja Street 20, Minsk

The house was built in 1896 as a rental building during Minsk's major urban expansion period. It survived World War II and the demolitions of the 1970s, making it a rare survivor from this construction era.

The structure reflects traditional Belarusian building practices through its stonework and window design typical of the region's residential heritage. Its official designation as a cultural monument shows how such homes shaped the architectural identity of the city.

The building is located roughly one kilometer from central Minsk and remains a residential space with external access to view the facade. Visitors can observe the architectural details and stonework from the street without needing to enter the interior.

A mezuzah was installed at the main entrance in 2021, adding a layer of religious practice to this historical residence. This addition shows how the building connects to contemporary spiritual life in the city.
