The Museum of the History of Minsk presents artifacts from archaeological excavations dating from the 11th to 19th centuries across ten exhibition facilities.
The museum network includes a former 18th-century manor house that belonged to Count Mikhail Pshezdetsky before becoming the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery in 2012.
The museum collection contains paintings, drawings, arts and crafts, memorial collections, and cameras from the late 19th to 20th centuries representing Minsk life.
The institution organizes guided tours, educational programs, and regular exhibitions with discounted entry fees for students and specialized group visits.
Local constable Yuri Kobylinsky's private collection, displayed in the early 19th century, represents the first documented public museum in Minsk.
