Georgina is a town in the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, located north of Toronto. The community spans multiple villages and rural areas, featuring a mix of lakes, forests, and residential neighborhoods throughout its territory.

The town was established in the early 1800s and originally named after King George III. Over time, the area evolved from a farming community into a residential area serving the expanding Toronto metropolitan region.
