Parc Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier

Parc Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier is a spacious green area in Plateau Mont-Royal with multiple sports fields, tree-lined paths, and recreational zones. The space accommodates soccer, baseball, a swimming pool, and play areas for children and dogs.

The park opened in 1925 and was named for a Canadian Prime Minister from the early 20th century. A monument from another country was added nearly 35 years later, expanding the historical connections at the site.

A bronze monument at the heart of the park honors a Spanish queen and reflects the neighborhood's connection to different cultures. The space brings together locals from the surrounding Plateau Mont-Royal area for everyday gatherings.

The space is open from early morning until midnight daily and provides access to an outdoor pool, playgrounds, and dog areas. Plan your visit based on the season, as different activities are available throughout the year depending on weather conditions.

Winter brings temporary ice skating trails that transform how people move through the grounds alongside year-round sports courts. This seasonal shift creates a completely different experience in the same location for just a few months.
