Autodrome Saint-Eustache, motorsport venue in Canada
Autodrome Saint-Eustache was a racing facility in Quebec featuring two separate tracks for different competitions. The quarter-mile oval had a paved surface with gentle banking, while the longer road course stretched over approximately 1.8 kilometers with multiple technical turns.
The facility opened in 1964 initially for drag racing events before a smaller oval was constructed nearby. A road course was added in 1971, and from that point the site hosted major Canadian motorsport series including NASCAR and CASCAR until its closure in 2019.
The site is no longer accessible as it closed in 2019 and the land was acquired by Hydro-Quebec for urban development projects. Visitors can now only explore the history and memories of the former racing venue that once drew local motorsport fans for many years.
The track earned a reputation for hosting exceptionally long races of 200 to 300 laps that tested both driving skill and driver endurance. These demanding formats made Saint-Eustache feared and respected among racers across North America as a fair yet challenging venue.
