Grande-Baie

Grande-Baie sits where Ha! Ha! Bay meets Mars River and forms part of Saguenay municipality in Quebec's Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. This sector includes waterfront areas and the residential neighborhoods that make up the La Baie borough.

The settlement began in 1838 when the Société des Vingt et un established a community based on fishing and logging. These early economic activities shaped the region's development for generations.
