Minister's Island, Tidal island estate in Chamcook, Canada.

The 500-acre estate includes a grand manor called Covenhoven, with fifty rooms, sandstone walls, and multiple outbuildings near Saint Andrews, New Brunswick.

Sir William Van Horne, president of Canadian Pacific Railway, acquired the island in 1890 and constructed the summer residence containing seventeen bedrooms and a billiard room.

The Van Horne Art Exhibit displays original paintings by Sir William, including works that are part of the National Art Gallery collection in Ottawa.

Visitors can access the island by driving across the ocean floor during low tide, making tide schedule verification essential before planning the journey.

The circular bathhouse on the property served as an art studio where Sir William created numerous drawings and paintings during his summer stays.
