Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Art museum at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada
The Agnes Etherington Art Centre maintains nine gallery spaces across 1,720 square meters, displaying European, Canadian, and African art collections.
The art center opened in 1957 in Agnes Etherington's Neo-Georgian mansion, which she donated to Queen's University for establishing a public gallery.
The center houses over 17,000 artworks spanning from the 14th century, including pieces by Rembrandt, El Greco, Tom Thomson, and Emily Carr.
The facility includes a publications lounge, art study room, and studio space, offering regular lectures, tours, and summer art programs for children.
The Bader Collection contains more than 200 European paintings, making it one of the largest collections of historical European art in Ontario.
