Searchmont Resort is a ski area in northern Ontario, Canada, with more than 20 trails of different difficulty levels served by several lifts. The terrain covers a natural hillside with runs suited to beginners, intermediate skiers, and more advanced riders.
Searchmont started as a small local ski area serving the communities of northern Ontario and gradually grew into a training center for competitive skiers over the decades. The addition of dedicated facilities for athletes helped establish it as a reference point for winter sports in the region.
Searchmont has long served as a gathering place for families and young skiers from northern Ontario communities who return season after season. The resort runs dedicated programs for youth athletes, making it a place where many local skiers take their first steps on snow.

Searchmont operates a network of around 200 snow machines that can cover all trails at once when natural snowfall falls short. This makes it one of the more self-sufficient ski areas in northern Ontario in terms of managing snow conditions throughout the winter.
