St. Vital Park, Public park in South Winnipeg, Manitoba
The park extends over 100 acres along the Red River, featuring walking paths, playgrounds, and recreational areas for community activities.
The development of St. Vital Park began in May 1929 with property clearing and road construction, establishing it as the third largest park in Winnipeg.
The park includes designated spaces for photography sessions, ceremonies, and community gatherings with multiple picnic shelters accommodating up to 200 people.
Visitors can access the park daily from 7 AM to 10 PM through public transit route 676, with year-round washroom facilities available throughout the grounds.
During winter months, the park transforms into a winter recreation destination with skating ponds, toboggan slides, and cross-country ski trails.
