Toronto Motorsports Park, Racing circuit in Cayuga, Ontario
Toronto Motorsports Park is a motorsport facility in Cayuga, in southern Ontario, Canada. It has a road course with several turns as well as a separate drag strip designed for a different style of racing.
The facility opened in 1955 as the Kohler Drag Strip and went through several name changes and expansions over the following decades. It eventually grew to include a full road course alongside the original drag strip, becoming Toronto Motorsports Park.
The park draws drivers and spectators from across Ontario who gather on race days to watch or take part in events. For many, a visit there is a chance to meet others who share the same interest in motorsport.
It is worth checking ahead to see what events are on, as the schedule changes from one day to the next. Those who want to drive on the track should look into what options are available before arriving.
Despite the name, the park is located in Cayuga, roughly 60 miles (about 100 kilometers) from Toronto itself. It still draws visitors from the wider Toronto area and is considered one of the region's main motorsport destinations.
