Lavaux

Multiple hiking trails connect the wine villages throughout Lavaux, allowing visitors to explore the terraces while tasting local wines at numerous cellars along the routes.

The combination of southern exposure, lake reflection, and heat-retaining stone walls creates specific growing conditions that influence the characteristics of Lavaux wines.
