Felskinnbahn, Aerial lift in Saas-Fee, Switzerland.
The Felskinnbahn cable car system stretches 3635 meters across the Swiss Alps, ascending from 1843 meters to an altitude of 2989 meters above sea level.
Von Roll company constructed this transportation system in 1969, followed by a complete renovation in 2006 that included new red cabins for passenger service.
The cable car gained international recognition when it appeared in Wham!'s music video for their song Last Christmas, filmed in the winter sports destination.
Each cabin accommodates 90 passengers and operates at 36 kilometers per hour, completing the journey in 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
The lift infrastructure includes five support towers, with the fourth tower featuring an intermediate stop where a modern restaurant replaced metal containers in 2005.
