Fort Ebersberg

Fort Ebersberg is a military museum and fortification in Berg am Irchel featuring two semi-automatic blockhouses with 75mm guns positioned on a north-facing slope. The underground sections are built into sandstone for protection, while surface areas display military exhibits accessible to visitors.

The fortress was constructed between 1938 and 1940 as part of Switzerland's Border Line defenses against potential German invasion during World War II. It represents the country's military preparation during this uncertain period.
