Schibengütsch is a mountain summit reaching 2037 meters in the Entlebuch District of Switzerland. The peak provides sweeping views across surrounding valleys and is part of the broader alpine landscape that characterizes the region.

The mountain was long known as Scheibenfluh; the name Schybengütsch is first documented in 1812. The name derives from the Schibe alpine pasture on its southern slope, whose unusually even, flattened grazing and scree fields gave it the name (standard German "Scheibe", disc).

The name comes from the Schafalp Schibe on the southern slope, whose name refers to the strikingly even, flattened pasture and scree fields. Until the 19th century the mountain was called Scheibenfluh; the form Schybengütsch is first recorded in 1812.

Trailheads for the Schibengütsch lie at Salwideli to the southeast, Kemmeribodenbad to the southwest and Marbachegg to the west, all reached on foot via the marked paths of the Schrattenfluh massif. The summit is the southwestern end of that ridge, so the approach is on foot throughout; plan for alpine weather and carry a map.
