Theodorskirche, Gothic church in Kleinbasel, Switzerland.
The Theodorskirche features two towers at its western facade, with the north tower rising higher than its southern counterpart.
First documented around 1100, Bishop Burkard von Fenis transferred the church ownership to the monastery of St. Alban in Grossbasel.
Archaeological excavations between 1984 and 1993 revealed multiple graves from the 11th century within the church grounds.
The church remains an active Protestant Reformed congregation, maintaining regular religious services and community gatherings.
The church foundations contain remnants from the 8th century, predating the current structure by several hundred years.
