Queen: The Studio Experience

Queen: The Studio Experience is a music museum located in the former Mountain Studios at Casino Barrière de Montreux. The exhibition displays original recording equipment and memorabilia from throughout the band's career in the space where they created some of their most famous work.

The facility became the band's recording location starting in 1978, and they purchased it the following year to have full control of their work. The studio remained an active production space until 1995.

The museum displays handwritten lyrics, stage costumes, and instruments that visitors can view directly. These personal belongings show how the band members worked and created music in this space.

The museum is located inside Casino Barrière de Montreux and is accessible throughout the day with wheelchair access available. The layout is straightforward, making it easy to view all the displays during your visit.

Behind protective glass, visitors can view the final handwritten notes created by Freddie Mercury during his recording sessions in 1991. These personal writings offer a direct glimpse into his creative work during his last years.
