The property comprises multiple structures including Villa Semiramis, Casa Monescia, Casa Gioia, and Casa Marta, housing a total of 86 guest rooms.
The complex was built between 1927 and 1929 by architect Emil Fahrenkamp commissioned by Baron Eduard von der Heydt. The buildings preserve their original Bauhaus furnishings and reflect this important design movement's influence.
