Minsk World

Minsk World is a theme park built around a former Soviet aircraft carrier in Dapeng Bay as its main feature. The park displays military equipment, aircraft, and naval weapons spread across multiple decks including flight areas, hangars, and crew quarters.

The carrier served in the Soviet Pacific Fleet before a major accident led to its retirement and sale to China in 1995. It was later converted into a public park to make Soviet military history accessible to visitors.

Staff members dress in military uniforms and perform musical shows regularly on the flight and hangar decks throughout the day. These performances transform the vessel into an active gathering space for visitors.

Visitors can walk through four decks of the carrier to explore different areas and equipment displays. Wearing comfortable shoes is recommended as there is considerable walking involved in exploring all the levels.

The park houses a notable collection of Soviet-era military aircraft including the MiG-23 fighter and Mi-24 helicopter displayed on the carrier. These aircraft types are rarely seen outside of dedicated military museums and represent important developments in Soviet aviation technology.
