Mystic Manor, Dark ride in Mystic Point, Hong Kong Disneyland, China

Mystic Manor is a large Victorian mansion in Queen Anne style with Russian influences, its exterior modelled on the demolished Bradbury Mansion of Los Angeles. Inside, guests board the Mystic Magneto, a trackless electric carriage, and pass through rooms such as the Acquisitions and Cataloguing Room, Music Room, Mediterranean Antiquities, Solarium, Slavic-Nordic Chamber and Arms & Armour, where artefacts animated by magic dust move and transform.

The facility opened in 2013 as the first major expansion of the park after its founding. It introduced a character who travels the world as an adventurer and collector, bringing back artifacts from distant lands.

The manor is home to Lord Henry Mystic, a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, and his monkey Albert. The story is set in 1896, when Mystic Point was inaugurated, and the queue displays a group portrait of the society from 1899. The ride avoids ghosts and the afterlife to respect traditional Chinese beliefs about death, unlike the Haunted Mansion.

The Mystic Magneto carriages run at 4 km/h and stop automatically if a guest stands or climbs out. Up to 32 cars plus one wheelchair-accessible car operate on four routes through 13 scenes; cars 36 and 37 take a wheelchair user and one companion. The pre-show slide show and the small water-drop effect may be closed at times.

A composer wrote a score specifically for this ride that runs through every scene and matches the movements of the objects. The music follows the visual effects, reinforcing the impression that the artifacts truly dance and float.
