One Shenzhen Bay is a 71-story skyscraper in Yuehai with glass and steel surfaces that houses residential units, commercial spaces, and offices across its numerous floors. The structure features three underground levels and multiple Schindler elevators to facilitate movement throughout the building.
Construction began in 2014 and finished in 2018, marking a period of rapid growth in Shenzhen. This completion coincided with a phase of intensive modernization across the city.
The tower represents Chinese architectural advancement through its integration of modern design principles by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
The building is easily accessible through multiple entrances with adequate parking and public transit nearby. Visitors should note that certain areas may have restrictions, and it is best to visit during daytime when most public spaces are active.
The surrounding gardens were designed by AECOM and subtly connect the tower to neighboring areas. ALT Limited developed specialized facade materials that distinguish the building from other structures in the area.
