Cemetery of Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang, Guyuan

The burial complex contains multiple tomb structures built during the Northern Dynasties, Sui, and Tang periods, covering a substantial area in Ningxia region.

Archaeological excavations at the site have revealed numerous artifacts from the 5th to 9th centuries, including pottery, bronze items, and textile fragments.

The tombs display varied burial customs through different architectural styles, from earthen pits to brick chambers, reflecting social hierarchies of ancient China.

Visitors can access the archaeological site through guided tours that explain burial practices and showcase discovered artifacts in dedicated exhibition areas.

The cemetery contains over 400 tombs from three different Chinese dynasties, providing evidence of continuous burial traditions spanning four centuries.
