China National Botanical Garden

The China National Botanical Garden features 6,000 plant species across 600 hectares, including 2,000 trees, 1,620 tropical plants, and 1,900 fruit varieties.

The garden opened in April 2022, built upon the existing structures of the Institute of Botany and Beijing Botanical Garden's north and south sections.

The garden includes the Shifangpujue Temple, Cao Xueqin Memorial, and Tomb of Celebrities, connecting botanical science with Chinese heritage.

Visitors can access the garden through the China National Botanical Garden station on the Xijiao line or buses 698 and 932.

The national plant specimen hall spans 11,000 square meters, containing research laboratories, specimen houses, and a lecture hall with courtyard arches.
