Jeskyně Kostelík, Natural cave in Habrůvka, Czech Republic

Jeskyně Kostelík is a natural cave near Habrůvka with a length of about 31 meters and ceiling heights reaching up to 8 meters. The interior consists of a main corridor with several side passages and natural light openings in the rock walls.

People used the cave from prehistoric times; its name comes from the shape of its passages. Around 1800 it was artificially modified as part of the Vranov-Křtiny area: paths were built from the Křtinský valley floor so that a carriage could drive directly into the cave, and stone benches were placed inside.

Jeskyně Kostelík lies about 50 metres from the road from Adamov to Křtiny, and a blue-marked hiking trail runs directly through the cave. The trail comes from Adamov through the Josefovský valley past Františčina huť, the Jáchymka and Býčí skála caves, then on around Otevřená skála to Habrůvka and Křtiny.
