Osdorf, Residential quarter in Altona district, Hamburg, Germany

The neighborhood spans 7.2 square kilometers with 26,370 residents, featuring a mix of farmhouses, villas, and high-rise buildings across green landscapes.

Initially named Oslevesthorpe in the 13th century, Osdorf functioned as a farming village until 1927 when it merged with Altona district.

The Heidbarghof, constructed in 1842, functions as a cultural center presenting jazz concerts, folk music performances, and theatrical productions throughout the year.

The district contains seventeen daycare centers, forty-eight private medical practices, six pharmacies, and direct access to S-Bahn lines S1 and S11.

The Loki-Schmidt-Garten botanical garden maintains collections of plants from multiple continents and serves as a research facility for the University of Hamburg.
