Rittergut Kürbitz

Rittergut Kürbitz is a manor estate centered on a medieval residential tower with half-timbered upper stories and a steep gable roof. The main building stands near a traditional crossing point over the White Elster river.

The property was founded in 1201 and owned by the Feilitzsch family, who converted it from a fortified water castle into a residential manor. This transformation took place in the late 15th century.
