Gerlingen

Gerlingen is a town in the Ludwigsburg district, located around 9 kilometers west of Stuttgart. The municipality spreads across terrain with older residential areas and newer sections, offering a mix of local amenities and green spaces typical of its region.

Archaeological finds from 1972 revealed pottery fragments from the early Neolithic period, pointing to early settlement in the area. Additional discoveries of mammoth teeth during construction work suggest human activity in this region dating back thousands of years.
