Safariland Stukenbrock

Safariland Stukenbrock is an animal theme park spanning roughly 65 hectares with designated zones for lions, tigers, and other species. Visitors observe the animals directly from their vehicles while driving through different habitat areas.

The park opened in 1969 as Hollywood- und Safaripark Stukenbrock, bringing Germany's first drive-through safari experience with animals from different continents. This founding marked a new approach to animal viewing and entertainment in the country.

The western-themed section New Dodge City features regular performances showcasing traditional cowboy skills and entertainment throughout each day. These shows shape the daily experience and draw visitors to stay and watch the demonstrations.

The grounds allow visitors to drive through various zones in their own vehicles, making the journey itself part of the experience. A visit requires a personal car or participation in guided tours to explore all zones thoroughly.

Overnight lodges with air conditioning and private bathrooms allow guests to sleep next to animal enclosures and extend the experience into the evening hours. This accommodation option creates a special closeness to the animals and transforms each visit into something beyond a typical day trip.
