Wurzburg Cathedral, Roman Catholic cathedral in Würzburg, Germany.
The cathedral stretches 105 meters in length and features a double tower facade, making it one of Germany's largest Romanesque religious structures.
Construction began in 1040 under Bishop Bruno, and following his death in 1045, Bishop Adalbero completed the cathedral's initial structure by 1075.
The cathedral museum, established in 2003, showcases exhibitions about the building's history and holds collections of religious artifacts and artworks.
Religious services occur on Sundays at 10:00, 11:30, and 18:30, while weekday services take place at 09:00, with organ performances from Monday through Saturday.
Twenty bells weighing a total of 26 tons form the cathedral's bell system, with the oldest bell dating back to 1257.
