Neustadt Central Station

Neustadt Central Station is a railway hub in Neustadt an der Weinstraße with six platforms and a Neoclassical entrance building completed in 1866. Multiple railway lines intersect here, making it a key junction in the regional transport network of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The station opened in 1847 as the terminus of the first section of the Palatinate Ludwig Railway, connecting Rheinschanze and Bexbach. This line was among the earliest railway connections in the region and shaped the city's development.

The station houses a railway museum displaying steam locomotives and historic passenger coaches from regional railways. You can walk through and see vehicles that tell the story of rail travel across different periods.
