Altes Lager Münsingen, Military barracks and cultural heritage site in Münsingen, Germany.
The military complex features preserved buildings, including the former barracks that now contain exhibits documenting Germany's military training history.
King Wilhelm II of Württemberg authorized the construction of Altes Lager in 1895, establishing a combat shooting range for the XIII Royal Württemberg Army Corps.
The museum presents chronological exhibits spanning from the Kaiser era through World Wars I and II to the French occupation period.
The museum welcomes visitors from April to October on the second and fourth Sundays between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM without admission fees.
The site required the evacuation of the entire village of Gruorn in 1939 to accommodate the expansion of military training operations.
