Schloss Fronberg

Schloss Fronberg is a château in Schwandorf featuring a horseshoe-shaped layout with corner towers and a chapel in the eastern wing. The structure displays architectural elements from multiple periods, with Renaissance details visible in the forward courtyard.

The château was founded in 1305 as a fief under the Herren von Fronberg family and was rebuilt after fires in 1504 and 1594. Subsequent renovations shaped its current appearance.
