Museum of Asian Art, Art museum in Mitte, Germany
The Museum of Asian Art occupies the upper floors of the Humboldt Forum, displaying a collection of 20,000 artifacts from South, Southeast, and Central Asia.
Founded in 1906 as the Museum of East Asian Art under Wilhelm von Bode, it became Germany's first institution dedicated to Asian art collections.
The permanent collection includes sculptures and reliefs representing Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, along with textiles and clay sculptures from the Northern Silk Road.
The museum provides online ticket booking and can be accessed via the U-Bahn station Museumsinsel on the U5 line in central Berlin.
