Schloss vor Husum

Schloss vor Husum is a Renaissance castle in the North Frisian region of Schleswig-Holstein serving as a cultural center. The building features a central tower, a water moat, and expansive grounds with trees and open spaces.

Duke Adolf of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf built this castle between 1577 and 1582 on the grounds of a former Grey Monastery. This construction marked an important phase in the city's development as a regional center.
