Fernmeldeturm Nürnberg, Television tower in Nuremberg, Germany.

The Fernmeldeturm rises 292.8 meters into the sky, featuring an egg-shaped basket at 185 meters that contains transmission equipment and technical facilities.

The construction of this concrete telecommunications tower occurred between 1977 and 1980, with architect Erwin Heinle leading the design process.

The structure represents a prime example of late 20th-century German engineering, earning recognition as an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria.

Two elevators transport visitors through the tower, with one accommodating 30 people at 7 meters per second and another carrying 13 people at 2 meters per second.

From January to April 2003, the tower transmitted megaradio programs using a wire antenna that extended from its peak to a nearby building.
