Located on Lake Constance's northern shore, Immenstaad features expansive apple orchards and vineyards against the backdrop of the Swiss Alps.
The first documentation of Immenstaad appears in 1094 when Bavarian Duke Welf IV obtained the properties of Weingarten Abbey in the region.
