Bocksberg, Mountain summit in Harz Mountains, Lower Saxony, Germany.
Located southeast of Hahnenklee village, Bocksberg stands at 726 meters above sea level and features a wooden observation tower constructed in 1976.
During the post-World War II period, the United States Army maintained a radio relay station on Bocksberg to facilitate communications between Frankfurt and Berlin.
The mountain functions as a central recreational area where locals and tourists participate in winter sports, hiking activities, and mountain biking throughout the year.
A gondola lift system stretching 1,100 meters transports visitors from Hahnenklee to the summit, with special accommodations for skiers and mountain bikes.
The mountain features the longest summer toboggan run in the Harz region, complemented by a slide tower offering three different slides for children.
