Bunker Ladeburg

Bunker Ladeburg is an underground military museum in Bernau bei Berlin with multiple levels and numerous rooms for exhibitions. The facility displays equipment and documents from the Cold War era in their original setting.

The facility was built in the 1980s as a command center for anti-aircraft missiles and coordinated up to 14 divisions. It was a key part of East German air defense during the division of Germany.

The museum shows how this facility organized military defense for East Germany and what role radar stations and communication systems played in daily operations.

Visits are only possible through guided tours, which should be booked in advance. It is wise to allow time for all levels and exhibition rooms, as the facility is extensive.

The bunker preserves the original equipment and infrastructure, allowing visitors to experience the feeling of daily work in a command center. The rooms are not modified but show how officers and technicians performed their duties here.
