The Schurkenturm is a medieval stone structure standing on a hill overlooking the town of Horb am Neckar. The ruins are part of the former Hohenberg Castle and offer wide views across the river valley from above.

The castle was built around 1300 as a fortified stronghold for local rulers. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the tower was briefly used as a prison before it eventually fell into decline.

The tower is known locally as Schurkenturm, or "rogue's tower", a name tied to its use as a prison in the 18th and 19th centuries. Since 1973 it has served as the clubhouse of the Schwäbische Albverein, a Swabian hiking association, and a castle garden survives beside the remaining walls.

The tower can be reached via walking paths that lead uphill and connect to other ruins of the former castle. Sturdy footwear is recommended, as some paths are steep and uneven.

The tower's nickname Schurkenturm, meaning "rogue's tower", comes from its use as a prison in the 18th and 19th centuries. Since 1973 the surviving bergfried has served as the clubhouse of the Schwäbische Albverein, a Swabian hiking association.
