Namedy Castle, Baroque castle in Andernach, Germany.

Namedy Castle is a structure on the left bank of the Rhine, blending late Gothic elements with baroque additions and topped by two distinctive corner towers. The building displays architectural layers from different periods that form a coherent whole.

The castle was founded in the 14th century by the Husmann family as a stronghold along the Rhine. A major renovation took place in 1909 after Prince Karl Anton of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen purchased the property.

The castle serves as a cultural venue hosting concerts, theatrical performances, and art exhibitions that run throughout the year. Visitors experience an active calendar of artistic events that bring the space to life.

The castle sits on Schlossstrasse in Andernach and is accessible via the Eurovelo 15 cycling path that runs nearby. Guided tours are offered and the grounds can be rented for private events.

The castle's hall of mirrors functioned as a military hospital during World War I under the direction of Princess Joséphine Caroline of Belgium. This transformation shows how the building played a role during a critical historical moment.
