Namedy Castle, Baroque castle in Andernach, Germany.
Namedy Castle stands on the left bank of the Rhine River, featuring late Gothic architecture with baroque additions and two distinctive corner towers.
Originally constructed in the 14th century by the Husmann Knights, the castle underwent major renovations in 1909 when Prince Karl Anton of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen acquired it.
The castle functions as a cultural center since 1988, hosting concerts, theatrical performances, art exhibitions, and various celebrations throughout the year.
Located on Schlossstrasse in Andernach, the castle offers guided tours and event spaces, with the Eurovelo 15 cycleway running adjacent to its park.
The castle's hall of mirrors served as a military hospital during World War I under the direction of Princess Joséphine Caroline of Belgium.
