Burgstein

Burgstein is a mountain summit in the Fichtelgebirge range reaching 879 meters, with prominent granite rock formations visible throughout the peak. Dense forests cover the slopes and create a natural setting for walking and exploring the terrain.

The mountain formed over 750 million years ago through the Variscan mountain-building processes that shaped the entire Fichtelgebirge region. These ancient geological forces continue to define the landscape structure we see today.
