Moselbrücke Bullay, Double-decker road-rail bridge in Bullay, Germany

The Moselbrücke spans 314 meters across the Moselle River, featuring two levels that accommodate both railway tracks and vehicular traffic simultaneously.

Built in 1878 as part of the railway line between Koblenz and Trier, the bridge underwent reconstruction in 1947 following destruction during World War II.

This structure stands as Germany's first double-decker bridge and represents a milestone in transportation engineering, earning status as a cultural heritage monument.

The upper deck carries trains along the Koblenz-Trier railway line, while the lower level provides a vital road connection for vehicles crossing the Moselle River.

Located near Europe's steepest vineyard, the bridge serves as a central point for numerous hiking trails and the 31-kilometer Mosel Cycle Path to Cochem.
