Dynamikum, Science museum and research center in Pirmasens, Germany
Dynamikum is a science center in Pirmasens with more than 150 interactive stations for exploring natural laws. Visitors can experiment themselves, test forces, and experience physical principles in action.
The center opened in 2008 through conversion of an old shoe factory building into a place for science learning. This new use gave a historic industrial structure a completely different purpose and life.
Visitors encounter exhibits that show how scientific phenomena appear in everyday life around them. The spaces invite people to experiment themselves and notice how science works in all directions around us.
The center opens at 9 AM on weekdays and 10 AM at weekends, staying open until 6 PM both days. Parking is available right by the building, making car visits straightforward.
Visitors can create tornadoes at special stations or measure their own reaction speed. These hands-on activities make abstract physical concepts tangible and directly experienced.
