Theater im Marienbad

Theater im Marienbad is a performance venue in Freiburg im Breisgau specializing in productions for children and young people. The ensemble consists of 13 members working across two performance spaces: a main hall with 250 seats and the Kesselhaus with 80 seats.

The venue was founded in 1989 by converting the former municipal baths of Freiburg into a theater space. This transformation gave the historic building a new cultural purpose and role in the city.
