Eilenriedehalle is the largest hall of the Hannover Congress Centrum, in the Zoo district near the Stadtpark and the Eilenriede. It was built in 1975 and is divided into Eilenriedehalle A and the annex Eilenriedehalle B, together about 80 by 25 metres in length and roughly 44 metres wide. Part A is about 9 metres high, part B 10 metres, and the total area is 4,632 square metres.

The venue opened in 1975 and has since developed into a key congress center. Over the decades, it has hosted many international performers who contributed to shaping the city's event landscape.

The hall's name comes from the adjacent Eilenriede city forest. Before the TUI-Arena opened in 2000, it was Hanover's main venue for large events, and television shows such as "Wetten, dass..?" were broadcast live from here. In August 1990 it hosted the FDP's reunification party congress with the Bund Freier Demokraten, the Deutsche Forumpartei and the East German F.D.P.

Seating ranges from 1,760 at a banquet to 4,034 in rows, and up to 7,500 people stand without seating.

The floors are engineered to support heavy loads and can bear up to 500 kilograms per square meter. This capability enables the setup of large stage structures and complex technical installations required for demanding productions.
